What is Happening Now?
The Greater Dallas Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and the United Way of Metropolitan Dallas hosted a Moving Students Forward in Education Forum on November 18th at the Beckley Saner Recreation Center in South Dallas with State Representative Barbara Mallory Caraway, Deputy Mayor Pro Tem Dwaine Caraway, and Dallas ISD Board Trustee Carla Ranger. Forty people from the community attended along with education experts to learn about the 4X4 plan and dual credit opportunities for high school students to graduate and prepare for college.
